Hill-walking: Irish Resources.
The Irish Rambler's Club
An excellent hillwalking club of which I have been a member for many years.  It has around 600 members and is based in the Dublin/ Wicklow area.  Weekly walking is usually in five or six grades with some walks on various other days.  The Ramblers organise the Lug Walk every other year.
Wayfarers Association
An excellent hillwalking club of which I was a member for many years.
It has around 300 members and is based in Dublin/ Wicklow area.  Weekly walking is usually in three grades.  The Wayfarers annually organise the Blackstairs Walk.

Geo Tours is an Irish business that explores Irelands geology and archaeology through providing guided tours of its amazing landscapes. Geo Tours also provides workshops and night classes for those who wish to develop an interest in geology as a hobby.


WalkingRoutes.ie is a database of walking trails in Ireland. Its detailed trails include easy to use Google maps, descriptions, comments and photos. WalkingRoutes.ie also allows people to create and share their own walking trails using the website or a smart phone app for free.
